EmPATHy reflects the vision of change
EmPATHyが描く変革のビジョン

EmPATHy is a youth organization founded in November 2022, with members consisting of both Youth UNHCR who are engaged in refugee support activities in Japan and individuals with a refugee background. Many refugee youths who currently come to Japan under the RHEP and JISR programs are members of the program. The organization aims to bring together refugees in Japan and Japanese youth to work towards a common goal of change. EmPATHy's vision is reflected in its three pillars: Change, Safety, and Inclusiveness. The organization aims to raise awareness about the plight of refugees in Japan by amplifying their voices. EmPATHy also plans to provide various forms of support for newcomers and existing refugees in Japan, in collaboration with NGO's and NPOs. Additionally, EmPATHy plans to involve students from RHEP and JISR in existing Youth UNHCR activities such as field trips, in order to maximize the impact of their missions.
 

EmPATHyは、2022年11月に設立されたユース団体で、メンバーは日本で難民支援活動を行うYouth UNHCRと、難民の背景を持つ個人の双方で構成されています。
現在、RHEPやJISRのプログラムで来日している難民ユースが多く所属しています。
日本にいる難民と日本の若者を結びつけ、変革という共通目標に向かって活動することを目的としています。
EmPATHyのビジョンは、3つの柱「変革」「安全」「包括性」で構成されています。
難民の背景を持つ個人の声を届けることで、日本で生活する難民の危機的な状況を広く認識させることを目指しています。
また、NGOやNPOと連携し、日本に新たにやってきた難民や既存の難民に対して、さまざまな形で支援を行う予定です。
さらに、RHEPやJISRの学生を、フィールドトリップなどの既存のYouth UNHCRの活動に参加させ、ミッションの効果を最大化させます。
